How it Works
Hen Parties at Stonetrail are available when you book all 3 properties which means you have exclusive use of the cottages for your party. Our properties include:

Stoneview, the largest house has a dining table which can seat everyone if you use the bench seating or add an extra table. The adjoining properties provide useful extra lounges perfect for qet togethers. There are 5 bathrooms in total and each property has a well fitted kitchen with all the facilities you need to cook for yourself. There is a loveley shared garden and patio right outside your door with outdoor funiture, gas bar-b-q and stunning views across the valley. We have no neighbours close enough who can be disturbed !
You can choose from a 2 or 3 night weekend break starting at 3pm on a Friday. Organisers can arrive from 1pm to prepare the houses in advance. We do not mind if you wish to hang ballons or banners but would prefer that you did not use confetti - best to save it for the big day !
Our properties are let on a self catering basis which means you pay the lowest price and then choose how much you wish to spend on catering. The most efficient way is to bring your food with you ready prepared or to cook for yourselfs during your stay. Groceries can be ordered in advanced with ASDA. Or you could book a caterer and host a dinner party or book one of the excellent local restaurants, details of where to eat are shown below.
Stonetrail is situated just 20 mins from junction 38 M6 and less than an hour from scotch corner. The nearest train stations are Kirkby Stephen, 10 mins by car ( Leeds / Carlisle line ) or Oxenholme, 30 mins by car ( West Coast line ).
Price and How to Book
The rental price below includes accommodation for up to 18 guests, bed linen ( beds are made up ), towels on arrival, heating and electric costs. You can reserve our properties without obligation for up to a week ( longer can be arranged ) to allow you time to check details with your friends and collect deposits. The deposit required is 25% and the final balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.

Walk to the pub for lunch for a long lunch
Keep it simple and enjoy a good walk to the pub for a long lunch with friends. We have three great pubs at varying distances surrounded by stunning scenery.
Go for a Bike Ride
You can hire our own mountain bikes and tackle one of our easy to follow route maps down to the village and back. Or you could hire a qualified Mountain Bike Instructor to provide skills training and a guiding service.
Have a Spa Party
Unwind with a glass of bubbly at the Eden Spa in Kirkby Stephen ( a 10 min drive ). The Spa is available for private hire from 5pm on Saturdays. This is a popular choice and the hire includes a hot tub, steam room and sauna. Included in the price for use during your visit are towels, spa slippers and complimentary toiletries. Take your own drinks.
