You can make a booking online using our website or you can email or telephone and we will make the booking for you.
The online booking system is straight forward:
All bookings are confirmed in writing by email the instance your booking is made. All payments made during the booking process are confirmed in writing and you will receive an email two weeks prior to your arrival date with useful arrival instructions. We are also available to answer any queries your have in person at any time.
Our Price Includes
The accommodation rental price includes all charges relating to heating and lighting and logs for the wood burning stove. We also provide on arrival bed linen and towels as well as a small amount of essential domestic items such as hand soap, washing up liquid, toilet rolls and tea towels. Fresh towels are available during your stay for a small extra charge.
Horseriding and Bike Hire
If you wish to book horseriding or bike hire please contact us in advance to discuss dates etc. We do recommend you book horse riding in advance of your stay. Discounts are available if you intend to ride more than once during your stay.
Your accommodation will be available from 3pm on the day of your arrival.
Please arrange to vacate your property by 10am on the morning of your departure.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you have to cancel your booking we request that you notify us as early as possible.
Our refund policy is as follows
We will refund all payments excluding the deposit for cancellations which are notified to us in writing more than 6 weeks before arrival date. No refund will be made for cancellations notified within 6 weeks of your arrival date.
Cancellation of Riding Bookings
On rare occasions, we may regrettably decide to cancel or cut short a ride due to poor weather and safety reasons. We reserve the right to assess weather conditions and declare if it is safe to set out or return home. On these occasions, when we make the decision, we will always offer a credit towards a future ride with us.
If we have to cancel your ride for any other reason, we will provide a full refund. This is also very rare but could occur due to circumstances beyond our control such as a horse or member of staff being unwell at short notice.
Refunds or credits are not payable should you choose not to ride for any reason.
Horses & Pets
We welcome horses and have excellent livery facilities for horses on holiday. Please click on our Horseriding Page which has details about bringing your horse on holiday.
We regret we do not accept pets other than horses.
Number of persons per unit
Please note that the number of persons staying at the property should not exceed the stated occupancy of each property. Please ask if you wish to accommodate extra guests and we will do our best to help.
Responsibility for damages
The hirer undertakes to take all reasonable care in the use of the property and its contents, including the security of the property. The hirer will report any damages losses or breakages as soon as they occur. We reserves the right to charge for repairs, losses or replacements necessitated by the negligent act or omission of any of the hirer's party, guests or invitees.
Description of property
We have described our property as accurate as possible but this cannot be warranted and nor does the description form any contract. We reserve the right to alter or improve any of the descriptions without notice.
Our accommodation has been wired for Internet access. However, due to our remote location we are unable to guarantee its speed or constant accessibility.
