Stoneview Farmhouse

Stoneview is our largest property which can accommodate up to 10 guests. An additional 8 guests can also be accommodated when you book exclusive use of all three adjoining properties making us a perfect venue to celebreate a special occasion with family and friends. Recently converted from a stone barn, Stoneview retains lovely features adding real character and warmth whilst offering a high standard of modern comforts. The large kitchen, seperate lounge and garden areas provides lots of space for relaxed get togethers.

Without doubt, the majority of our guests choose Stonetrail because of the fabulous 360 views, wonderful walking and relaxed atmosphere. With no immediate neighbours there is a real sense of peace and tranquility and whilst many guests take to the fells, just sitting in the garden and watching the sunset is also a very popular pastime !

The local area offers a diverse range of places to visit with historic towns, country shows and festivals throughout the year. Whilst the area is very peaceful you are still close enough to visit the well known towns of the Lake District although most visitors find there is plenty on offer close by and enjoy the opportunity to walk all day on the fells in almost complete seclusion. The layout of Stoneview is arranged as follows:

Ground Floor

Front and rear entrance and hallway with plenty of coat hanging /shoe storage

Double Ensuite Bedroom ( can also fit a travel cot )

Twin Ensuite ( can also fit a fold out single bed )

Stairs to First Floor

Family Ensuite Room ( Double bed plus bunk beds) - Can also fit an extra single bed and / or travel cot

Fully fitted kitchen including cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, double fridge, wine fridge, toaster. Extending dining table seating 12 guests ( more can be seated if the bench seating is used in place of chairs )

Lounge with woodburning stove ( logs provided ), TV with freeview, DVD player. Double sofa bed.

Gardens and Parking

Enclosed garden with stunning views equipped with tables, chairs and bar-b-que.

Ample parking and storage for equipment

Additonal Details

Stoneview is warmed by oil fired central heating & a wood burning stove. All heating and logs are included in the price.

Stoneview is Wi-Fi enabled ( no charge )

Dogs are welcome in all cottages and you can also bring a horse.

Price, Availability & Booking

Our online booking system is quite straighforward and allows you to check up to the minute availability and book direct with ourselves. If you prefer to speak in person before you book we welcome your call and can also make your booking for you.
