Stonetrail Self Catering Accommodation
Our accommodation is available to book for weekend, mid week or week long breaks. Booking could not be more simple, just click on our online booking system and select your accommodation.
Our onsite facilities include mountain bike hire, horse riding and excellent route planning advice with free maps, perfect for walkers and ramblers.
Recently converted from stone barns, our accommodation offers an exceptionally high standard of comfort. We have employed traditional building methods to retain the historic and architectural value of the building with open trusses and exposed stonework which complement the oak floors, wood burning stoves and power showers. The furnishings are simple and stylish with comfy beds and crisp white linen.
Children of all ages are very welcome and we will provide as much assistance as we can with regard to the supply of baby equipment. We regret we are unable to allow dogs.
Stoneyard is a ground floor one bedroom apartment with a patio overlooking Wild Boar fell.
Stoneheights is a first floor one bedroom apartment with wonderful views across to the Howgills.
Stone End is a one bedroom two storey apartment with a spectacular view from the bedroom window. Due to open in 2009
Stone View is a three bedroom house adjoining the apartments which can sleep 8. Due to open in 2009.
All share the use of the courtyard and gardens with open views in every direction. There is plenty of parking and storage areas for equipment.
Planning where to walk and cycle could not be simpler. Our Map Room with our inhouse GPS software is for the use of guests where you can browse routes and download or print a map. With our additional facilities we are are a perfect venue for a cycling, walking or horse-riding holiday.
