Open all year and available for weekend, mid week and week long breaks, our three cottages can accommodate up to 16 making us an ideal location for cosy couples, families or groups.

Situated in a fabulous untouristy part of Cumbria midway between Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen, we are located at the foot of Wild Boar fell and the Howgill fells and within a few minutes walk of the Pennine Bridleway, Englands latest long distance trail.

Still close enough to enjoy the attractions of the Lake District, the quieter location of Stonetrail in the Eden Valley offers a fabulous selection of days out for all ages and our onsite facilities make us a great holiday location for an activity break. Walkers can choose to follow one of our walking routes or you can take to the fells on one of our mountain bikes. We also offer horse riding treks & riding holidays with livery facilities for your own horse. Our extensive knowledge of the local bridleways mean we can provide excellent advice on the best routes. If you are feeling less energetic this is also a great place to sit back and just enjoy the peace and quiet.

The Eden Valley is a great choice for food lovers. Each property is well equipped with all the facilities you need to cook for yourself and there is an excellent choice of shops and farmers markets offering local specialities as well as plenty of tea shops, cosy Inns and award winning pubs.

Our family and pet friendly accommodation will appeal to all ages and there are many different activities available in the local area. Peacefully situated in 40 acres we are within 20 minutes of the M6 and less than an hour from the A1 at Scotch Corner.
